No Data Collection
WhatsMyDevice does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All device analysis happens entirely in your browser using standard Web APIs. No data is sent to our servers.
No Cookies or Tracking
We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. We do not use analytics that identify you personally. Your privacy is respected by design, not by policy.
Third-Party Services
Our speed test uses Cloudflare's network (speed.cloudflare.com). IP geolocation uses ip-api.com. These services have their own privacy policies. No identifying information is linked to these requests.
Your Data, Your Control
The 'Copy Report' feature copies data only to your local clipboard. We cannot see what you copy. You decide what to share and with whom.
Detailed Disclosure
WhatsMyDevice does not store a complete diagnostic report of your device persistently on its servers. Most tool results are generated in your browser and shown to you during the active session. However, some limited network data is shared with third-party services while certain features are running: IP enrichment requests go to the geolocation provider; your IP address is processed by the relevant speed test provider when you run a speed test; aggregate and anonymized traffic measurements about site usage may be kept by our web analytics infrastructure.
