Disclosures.
Learn how WhatsMyDevice handles browser diagnostics, ads, analytics, cookies, and third-party services with transparent disclosure.
Browser diagnostics and limited server data
Most diagnostic values are generated in your browser with standard Web APIs. To show network information, this site may also process request headers such as IP address, country, city, and network provider. We do not store a persistent full device report.
Cookies, ads, and analytics
WhatsMyDevice uses Google AdSense, Google Tag Manager, Funding Choices, and Vercel Analytics. These services may process identifiers, cookies, consent state, ad events, and aggregated usage measurements according to their own policies and your consent choices.
Third-party diagnostic services
Some tools contact third-party infrastructure when you use them. The speed test uses Cloudflare endpoints, WebRTC testing can contact Google STUN infrastructure, and advertising or consent messages can load Google services. These providers may receive your IP address and browser request metadata.
Your choices and control
You can change browser cookie settings, revoke site permissions, use privacy controls in your browser, and manage ad consent where the Google Funding Choices message is available. The copy report feature only places selected data on your local clipboard.
Detailed disclosure
WhatsMyDevice does not keep a persistent full diagnostic profile on its own servers. However, the site is not a zero-tracking or zero-cookie product: ads, analytics, consent messaging, WebRTC checks, and speed tests can involve third-party requests. For AdSense compliance, the Google-certified consent message should be verified in the AdSense Privacy & messaging panel before resubmitting the site for review.
